ACRAZE is an American DJ and producer who broke through with one infectious house track that reached back to a mid-2000s hit. "Do It to It", released in 2021, rebuilt the vocal from Cherish's 2006 single of the same name into a thumping, festival-ready dance record, and after going viral on TikTok it became a global hit.
It announced ACRAZE as a breakout name in dance music and became a fixture of clubs and playlists. But his follow-ups have not matched it, and the rest of his catalogue sits far behind that one track.
On streaming, "Do It to It" sits near 981 million plays, while his next most-streamed track trails at around 72 million. That sends the ratio above 13, far past our 5.0 line.
So by our measure, for now, ACRAZE is a certified one-hit wonder, with the caveat that always applies to a working dance producer. The genre is built around individual hits, and he remains active, but on streams one viral, nostalgia-fuelled house anthem still does far more work than everything else he has made. In dance music, that is often simply how a producer's name travels.
